A shoo-in- 形容对于胜利十拿九稳的人或团队。例如："She's a shoo-in for the championship."（她肯定会赢得冠军。）

As dead as a dodo- 形容某事物已经不再重要，过时了。例如："Mobile phones are as dead as dodo these days."（如今手机已经过时了。）

Cheers- 英国人常用的感谢用语，类似于“谢谢”，但更随意。例如："Cheers, mate!"（谢谢，伙计!）

Bugger all- 相当于“什么都没有”。例如："I've had bugger all to do all day."（我今天什么都没做。）
