A shoo-in- 形容对于胜利十拿九稳的人或团队。例如:"She's a shoo-in for the championship."(她肯定会赢得冠军。)

As dead as a dodo- 形容某事物已经不再重要,过时了。例如:"Mobile phones are as dead as dodo these days."(如今手机已经过时了。)

Cheers- 英国人常用的感谢用语,类似于“谢谢”,但更随意。例如:"Cheers, mate!"(谢谢,伙计!)
